Selling on Little Farm List

How to list items, manage orders, and get paid.

Getting started

  1. Create your profile — username, display name, bio, and photo.
  2. Set your pickup location — use Google Maps autocomplete to pin your address.
  3. List your first item — add photos, set a price, and publish.

Creating a listing

  • Upload up to 5 photos — AI auto-fills title, description, category, and suggested price from your photo.
  • Review and adjust AI suggestions.
  • Set price and unit (per lb, per dozen, each, per bunch).
  • Set quantity available.
  • Choose category: Produce, Eggs & Dairy, Baked Goods, Plants, Handmade, Preserves, or Wellness.
  • Toggle “Allow Pay at Pickup” for cash payments.
  • Publish or save as draft.

Tips for great listings

Photos
  • Use natural light (outdoors or near a window).
  • Show scale with your hand or a common object.
  • Include multiple angles for bundles.
  • Keep the background clean.
  • Skip filters — the AI works best with clear, unedited photos.
Pricing
  • Check similar listings in your area.
  • Price by weight for larger produce (per lb).
  • Round to clean numbers ($5 not $4.87).
  • Factor in your time picking, washing, and packaging.
Descriptions
  • Note the variety name when you know it (Heirloom vs Roma).
  • Mention ripeness (ready to eat, needs a few days).
  • List quantity clearly (6 ears, 2 lbs, 1 dozen).
  • Add harvest date for perishables.
Timing
  • List day-of or day-before for perishables.
  • Weekend mornings see the most traffic.
  • Use “Coming Soon” status to build anticipation before harvest.

Managing orders

  • Orders appear on your Seller Orders page.
  • Filter by status: Confirmed, Ready, Complete, or Cancelled.
  • Mark Ready when prepared — the buyer gets notified.
  • Mark Complete after handoff — the buyer can also confirm.
  • Cancel if needed — online payments are automatically refunded.

Your seller profile

  • Public page at littlefarmlist.com/@yourname.
  • Shows your bio, location, listings, and follower count.
  • Buyers can follow you to see your new listings first.
